Who Are We?
We are a Free Company founded by two friends who got tired of looking into other communities and feeling lost, leading to the decision to form our own. Our primary focus in House Dorne is medium to heavy roleplay, with the option to organize events for content within individual interest. House Dorne focusses upon adventure-based and slice-of-life roleplay, particularly within the environment of a noble house and hunting guild. What we ultimately aim for is an active, self-sufficient community for roleplayers to share their stories, DM for others, and have fun!
The History
House Dorne is an Ul'dahn-born noble house whose roots dig as deep as the ruins of the War of the Sisters. What started as a family of knights dedicated to hunting and slaying the foul ashkin created by the Trader's Spurn has evolved over the years into an extremely affluent house of reputable hunters and adventurers, most known for their services to the community, generosity, and honor.

As an LGBT+ and BIPOC-led Free Company, we are committed to maintaining an inclusive space for all members, both in character and out of character.Our community brings together lore-abiding roleplayers who value meaningful storytelling, character development, and balance between serious and casual roleplay.Each week, we host events for members and friends to gather, interact, and keep the story moving. Members are also encouraged to, and given the space, to lead their own events and bring their ideas to life. What Kind of RP Do You Do?
House Dorne offers a wide range of roleplay opportunities for members with different interests and experience levels. For those seeking adventure, our hunting contracts provide access to beast hunts, treasure hunts, tracking assignments, and other specialized tasks, including private commissions that may not be publicly listed.For members interested in more casual roleplay, we host weekly gatherings such as Free Company dinners, community outreach events in Ul’dah, and informal social activities around the estate. Members are also encouraged to create their own scenes, events, and ongoing storylines within our shared space; officers can't do it all!Overall, House Dorne focuses on a balanced roleplay environment that supports both lighthearted and serious themes. Whether you are new to roleplay or highly experienced, casual or story-driven, our Free Company provides room to participate, develop, and contribute.

Where Are You Located?
House Dorne is located on Mateus, Crystal. Our estate is 25th Ward, Medium Plot 19, Goblet.
Do I Have to Join The Free Company?
Yes! We make no exception for people who aren't willing to leave their prior Free Company, data center, or world. If you are not comfortable with taking the required steps to join the FC, know that you are still free to interact and roleplay with us!Knowing we live on Mateus, which is almost always congested, we understand it can be difficult changing home worlds. So just in case, we have a Cross-world Linkshell for those who are apart of and plan to be apart of our Free Company.
Do I Have to Be A Noble to Join?
Nope! We already have characters who aren't involved with any of the nobility of House Dorne while still in the FC. Whether you wish to be apart of the noble court is entirely up to you!
